Continua la stampa di visiere per le associazioni di volontariato

Dopo le ultime consegne di visiere per la call dell’università Roma3 abbiamo cominciato le stampe di altri faceshield indirizzati ad alcune realtà con effettivo bisogno. Abbiamo quasi terminato le stampe di 20 visiere destinate al personale della Nave Ospedale Elpis http://www.naveospedale.it/ : la Nave Ospedale parte ogni anno per delle missioni mirate a fornire assistenza medica e formare personale medico locale in località con scarsissimo o inesistente accesso a qualsiasi tipo di servizio sanitario come in alcune isole vicino al Madagascar.

Altre 20 visiere sono state distribuite ad alcuni volontari con cui lavoriamo e abbiamo lavorato durante le attività del laboratorio. Infine stiamo procedendo alla stampa di ulteriori 20 visiere destinate alle popolazioni del Rojava nel Nord-est della Siria che in questo momento, come se non bastasse l’emergenza Covid19, si trovano anche a dover affrontare numerose minacce provenienti da continui attacchi e bombardamenti turchi nelle aree vicine, comprese zone abitate da civili ed un campo profughi sotto la protezione delle nazioni unite:

LAST UPDATES OF THE ROJAVA PROSTHETICS PROJECT’S ACTIVITIES:

After the last deliveries of faceshields for the Roma3’s call we have started to print other faceshields for some realities with effective need. We have almost ended the print of 20 faceshields intended for the personnel of the Hospital Ship Elpis http://www.naveospedale.it/ : the Hospital Ship Elpis leave every year for the targeted missions to provide medical care and train local medical staff in places with very little or no access to any kind of health service as in some islands near Madagascar. Other 20 faceshields were distributed to volunteers we work with and we worked during the laboratory work. Finally we are going to print additional 20 faceshields intended for people of Rojava in the north-east of Syria at this time, to make matters worse the emergency Covid19, also have to face numerous threats from constant attacks and bombings in Turkish neighboring areas, including areas inhabited by civilians and a refugee camp under the protection of the United nations:
